Mission:  Our youth bike program teaches personal responsibility, achievement and confidence through the development of practical skills, tutoring and simply having fun.  We work with children between the ages of 8 – 14 through a program of bicycling, mentoring and meals.  We need your help…Join our b.i.k.e.-Syracuse Fund Raiser:  “8 Hours of b.i.k.e.-Syracuse” and help a child…ONE PEDAL STROKE AT A TIME….ONE LAP AT A TIME…..

What you need to do   

  • Register for the ride  

·         Sign up sponsors to donate a lump sum or an amount per mile or lap

·         Come ride with us on the day - 8 hours

THE FIRST ANNUAL RIDE FOR AMY

So Brunswick Twp Community Center, New Rd.  Ride 50 mi through beautiful Middlesex & Somerset Counties for a new cause. The Amy Foundation was established in loving honor of Amy Feiman Behar to provide free mammograms to women who do not have insurance to pay for it.  No entry fee but all riders must collect a minimum of $150 in donations  [the cost to provide 1 mammogram to 1 woman]. ST PETER’S hospital in New Brunswick will provide the medical care.  Cue Sheets, Some Traffic Direction. Bring Helmet, Water Bottles. Refreshments Provided At start & Finish. The Mass BikePike Tour
Boston to Northampton

The Mass BikePike Tour, a bicycle tour across Massachusetts, is now accepting registrations for the four-day event. The bike tour will travel from Boston to Northampton, with daily riding options ranging from 30 to 65 miles.

The Mass BikePike Tour is a celebration of cycling in Massachusetts. Families and individuals will enjoy ample opportunity to explore the state’s scenic byways, quaint towns, and all the varied attractions the region has to offer.

Overnight camping and most meals are included. Alternative accommodations are available at local inns or B&Bs.

Riders will receive maps, route descriptions, lists of local attractions along the route, SAG support, a commemorative T-shirt, and the camaraderie of friendly folks having a good time.

The final day of the Mass BikePike Tour will feature a parade of bikes down Main Street in Northampton.

The Mass BikePike Tour is produced with the cooperation of MassBike and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Proceeds from the event will benefit MassBike, the statewide bicycle advocacy group.

RAMAPO RALLY FOR 2008    

Rides for cyclists of all levels…flat-torolling distances of 12 or 25 mi, to rolling and hillier rides of 45, 63, 100 and 125 mi.  Scenery and bucolic roads, the Century turns around in Chester. Traverse the Wildcat Ridge Wildlife Management Area (Splitrock Reservoir) as well as into the greenery along miles of the Black River Wildlife Management Area.

The double metric goes over Schooleys Mountain, with one very tough climb, a ride along the ridge and a rewarding downhill, for another 25 miles of great scenery — and challenge.

The Legacy Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Utah,  is scheduled for September 2008.  The 3-day and 10-day options will start on Thursday, September 4th after the Labor Day weekend.  The 7-day option will start on Sunday, September 7th, in Blanding, Utah where the 10-day group will meet up with the 7-day group for the opening ceremony on Saturday, September 6th.

Souderton, PA. Have a true European style cycling experience and ride a Cyclosportif (a European term for a timed recreational ride on a professional-level course). Enjoy the support and hospitality of The New York Cycle Club. This is the day our club goes all out to deliver a food-filled, fun-filled and fabulous day of riding to our brethren in the cycling community.

Choose one of three beautiful, well-marked routes of 50, 62 or 100 miles, all beginning and ending in Manhattan. All offer picture-postcard views of the Hudson River and Palisades as you cross the George Washington Bridge and ride through the hidden pleasures of Bergen and Rockland Counties.

A portion of this year's ride profits will benefit both Recycle-A-Bicycle a youth training and environmental education initiative, and Transportation Alternatives, advocates for non-polluting, quiet, city-friendly travel.
