Friday-Sunday Jun 25-27 THIRD ANNUAL GIRO DI JERSEY CYCLING FESTIVAL

BENEFIT LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: Flemington area Charities, Rocky Hill Cycling Classic Fund and the Corner House Foundation. 

The Races will kick off in Trenton, at Cadwalder Park on June 25th, then progress to Rocky Hill on June 26th and culminate in downtown Flemington on Sunday, June 27th at noon on Main Street .  Each of the three stages will be for professionals and top amateurs as well as hosting a Cat 3/4 Mens Race, Masters 45+, Womens 1,2,3, and a Womens cat 4 omniums.  
The public is welcome to cheer the athletes from the barricades.  Businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring the event can contact EMG from the Giro website at www.girodijersey.com.  Barrier banner spaces are available.

Thurs- Sun Aug 5-8 The 4th Annual Mass BikePike Tour

A bicycle tour in Massachusetts,now accepting registrations.  The bike tour will begin and end in Amherst, with daily riding options ranging from 30 to 65 miles.    A celebration of cycling in Massachusetts. Families and individuals who want a move leisurely pace will enjoy ample opportunity to explore the state’s scenic byways, quaint towns, and all the varied attractions the region has to offer.  All routes are hilly & we have an option on day 3 to climb Mt. Wachusett which includes a one mile climb at a steady 9% grade to the Visitors Center at the State Park and then a climb up the mountain access road to the summit at 2,000 feet above sea level.  Overnight stops feature great places to camp (indoor options available) and hardy meals featuring fresh local products.  An alternative to camping? Choose to stay close by at local inns or B&Bs  Registered riders will receive maps, route descriptions, lists of local attractions along the route, access to snack stops, SAG support, a commemorative T-shirt, and the camaraderie of friendly folks having a good time.  Proceeds will benefit MassBike, the statewide bicycle advocacy group.  For more information and registration details, visit the web site at www.MassBikePike.org  

Saturday Aug 7 30TH ANNUAL PRINCETON BICYCLING EVENT

Tour the beautiful countryside around central New Jersey with cyclists from all over the eastern US. Tours range from a kid-friendly 16-mile ride to a scenic century,  from flats to rolling hills. If you pre-register by July 26, 2010, you get faster check-in and a Free Event T-Shirt. All registrants are welcome to enjoy our rest stop snacks, a post-ride lunch, and are invited to shop at our on-site vendor area.

33RD ANNUAL RAMAPO RALLY BICYCLE TOUR

Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey (BTCNJ.COM). The premier bicycling event in North Jersey. 6 beautiful, well-marked routes: 12, 25, 45, 62, 100, or 125 mi thru farm, lake & hill country. Over 1200 riders in ’09.  $30 < Aug 1 & a chance to win a VBT Tuscan Coast or Tuscany by the Sea vacation.  Ride leaders, Sag wagon, bike shop mechanical support, Merchandise & exhibit areas. Saturday Aug 28 SHOREFIRE CENTURY

Ride beautiful, scenic routes (35, 65, and 100 miles) taking you through flat to gently rolling farmland in central Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. All routes will be marked with support (until 5:00 p.m.). A wide array of bicycle friendly food will be available at rest stops at regular intervals (five on the century).  $20 by 8/1  Marked routes, cue sheets, sag wagons, food stops, and event souvenir.

7th ANNUAL "DOUBLE CENTURY"

Ride benefitting TASK (Trenton Area Soup Kitchen) & The Rescue Mission of Trenton. Groups can elect their favorite charity providing food to those in need. For the first 6 years we rode 200 mi from Pennington to Gettysburg, PA. Now we depart from Gettysburg & ride to Cadwalder Park in Trenton. Saturday Sep 11 6th Annual Century for the Cure

Starting and finishing at Camp Riverbend in Warren, NJ, choose either the 100 mile or the 40 mile option, as we ride through some of the most scenic back roads of Central NJ. You will have a truly memorable experience, fully supported by enthusiastic volunteers along the way.
