Meet in South Trenton’s Riverview Plaza at the outdoor parking lot between Parking Garage and Mercer County Waterfront Park (Arm & Hammer Park) at the corner of Route 29 and Thunder Rd/Cass St..........


We will pedal past the Trenton Thunder baseball field and enjoy the hum of electricity powering the giant outfield scoreboard......


Then it’s onto the South Riverwalk Park above the Route 29 Tunnel, a loop around the history Riverview Cemetery, stopping to say hello to John A, Roebling (if he answers back we are in trouble) and then onwards to Bordentown along the little known D&R Canal path orphan to Bordentown City. We might even see an eagle or two along the way. .....

After a steep couple hundred foot climb (there is no shame in walking) we ride down the main drag in Bordentown to a rest stop at Dunkin Donuts....

Then we reverse course and head back to the parking lot - no second trip through the cemetery.......

This ride is mostly on gravel. A road bike should be able to handle it but wide tires are better.
