The leaves will turn and Hunterdon is (arguably) the most beautiful place on the planet. <br /><br />NEW ROUTE: This route is the same as last Sunday, except in the reverse direction. The start point is in the same place, the parking lot at Cold Brook Preserve on Old Turnpike Rd. The climbs are now descents and vice versa. The one stop will be half way, mile 14 at the Potterville General Store.<br /><br />The route ascends and descends 2300 feet within 27 miles. It&#39;s hilly. So we&#39;ll just go slow and absorb as much color as we can. No one will be dropped. After the ride, check out Oldwick Market, they make (arguably) the best sandwiches on the planet. Rain cancels. Oldwick is 1.5 miles from exit 24 on I-78.<br /><br />REASON FOR THE ROUTE CHANGE: The route to Long Valley is fraught with gargantuan hills and long dirt roads. Other roads are narrow with scant shoulders with automobile traffic.
