It's hilly in Hunterdon, but the narrow roads have hardly any cars (there's tons of bicyclists tho). The roads crisscross and meander along babbling brooks and the air is fresh and crisp and the vistas are mad scenic. There's 1 rest stop at the General Store in Potterville (mile 13). After the ride, the General Store in Oldwick has awesome sandwiches. The ride departs from the parking lot at Cold Brook Preserve Trail off Old Turnpike Rd. in Oldwick, about 1.5 miles from exit 24 off of I-78. This ride will prepare us for next week's Peaking in Hunterdon ride. Rain cancels.
