Explore the towpath is a series of rides on various tow paths in the area with different destinations each week as we explore the towpath from New Brunswick, NJ to Easton, PA. This week we will be starting in Lambertville at the parking lot off the canal near the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead. The rest stop will be in Frenchtown and for those that want to ride more miles, there is a metric century option. For those riding the metric, the ride will start in the same place but at 7:00 and we will ride about 17 miles before picking up the rest of the group at 8:30. The main ride is about 30 miles and for those who want to get up to 62.2 we will add another 15 miles when we cross back over into Pennsylvania and head up to Lumberville before returning. This is a social ride where no one will be dropped. Mountain, gravel, hybrid or fat bikes are recommended.
