Yeah, I'm doin' this again, even though it's not the end of the month, because the folks that come on 'em really like 'em, because I like doin' 'em, and because a particular friend missed the last one.
So the people who come along, really seem to like the "ride along and chat with folks" nature of this ride. Bring out your cool old bike that you don't bring on regular rides. Or come out with that person who you'd like to ride with, but who rides at a different pace from you. Or come out because it's Sunday, and you'd like to do a ride but you don't want to push yourself.
The usual stuff: Stops as needed. Planned rest stop at McCaffrey's on Southfield (If you're going to use the facilities, please plan to buy something...)
Note that some have complained that RideWithGPS underreports the amount of climb. (But look at that elevation diagram, already. Some dining rooms have more elevation gain than that.)
Faster riders are welcome to come to the start, take the route, and go off the front. I intend to ride within the stated pace range. Nobody dropped, and nobody rides alone at the back.
If you're planning to listen to music on this ride, use bone-conduction headphones. Earbuds, over-the-ear headphones, or music audible to other riders, are not permitted.
I hope to see youse.
