The route has beautiful roads with epic climbs and amazing down hills. A lot of the roads are country roads, many along rivers and county roads. There is a 2.5 mile section on the Columbia Trail that is light gravel suitable for a road bike. It is smoother than many paved roads. Some of the hills were used in the NJ GF years ago. Everyone climbs hills at their own pace. We may break up into more than one group if needed.

Start Location: Cold Brook Nature Preserve has a small parking lot. If you need a bathroom or food, the Oldwick General store is nearby. It is courteous to buy something if you are using the bathroom.

Rest stop: There is a full bathroom at mile 29+ at Lebanon Township Memorial Park. At mile 30+ we will stop at Woodglen General Store. They have food, drinks (no Gatorade) and coffee. They DO NOT have a bathroom.
