Events - Event View

This is a 2-day, 2-ride, overnight bike camping excursion. All are welcome, from experienced bikepackers/tourists to absolute newbies. Gravel, hybrid, or mountain bikes are highly recommended, but this route can also be reasonably ridden on a sturdy road bike with wider tires. Pace will be moderate/social (C/C+) absolutely no one dropped.

On Sunday, DAY 1, we will start at my home in Pennington and ride approximately 31 miles to Deer Wood Campground in Point Pleasant, PA, stopping for lunch in Titusville and then for dinner/supplies in Stockton. Cooking at the campsite is optional; I will have a stove/fuel for anyone to use. We will have access to a swimming pool at Tohickon Valley Park, adjacent to the campground, so bring a swimsuit if so inclined. The campground has bathrooms with running water/showers and potable water for drinking and cooking. We will share the cost of the campsite(s) evenly.

On Day 2, we will stop for breakfast in Lumberville, PA, and ride approximately 41 miles back to the start, via a mostly different route than Day 1.
