Princeton Freewheelers Spring Fling, and other 2019 Club event dates
The PFW annual Spring Fling is fast approaching. This event kicks off the riding season with rides at all paces followed by a luncheon (catered by Business Bistro) and presentation of Ride Leader Jerseys to those who led 10 or more rides in 2018. Those who have performed “sweep” duties will be acknowledged as well. After lunch, Jim Brittain will host a Tire Changing Clinic for anyone who brings a bike or wheel with tire to practice on.
When: Saturday, May 4 – most rides start at 9:00 am, although some longer rides may start earlier to return in time for the luncheon. Check the date on the Ride Calendar for specifics.
Where: Tall Cedars Picnic Grove, 245 Sawmill Road, Hamilton, NJ
Ride leaders, please sign up to lead rides via the calendar. If you’re not familiar with the area, we can provide routes at various distances. Sue Moser, our Ride Captain, will send an email to ride leaders about leading during the event, and about getting help with routes. The surrounding area features quiet, mostly flat country roads.
