We will kinda follow George Washington’s Christmas 1776 route along the Delaware River south into Trenton here he kicked some Hessian butt. . . . Then it’s onto Bordentown along the little known but, awesomely cool D&R Canal Path spur. . . .

Forty miles may sound intimidating but we will stop and chat about the sites enough to keep you rested, but not enough to bore you. While this is mostly an off road - gravel path, there will be a couple of miles of road riding in Trenton and Bordentown. Traffic should be minimal on a Sunday. The super duper highlight will be riding through South Riverwalk Park built on top of the Route 29 Tunnel along the Delaware River in Trenton. . . .

The reward for your efforts is a Dunkin' Donuts stop in Bordentown. . . .

Some, but not all of the highlights included:
Cadwalader Park, The Trenton Battle Monument, the World War II Memorial, the State House, Petty’s Run, Old Barracks Museum, War Memorial, outgoing Tax building, incoming Tax building Justice complex. the William Trent House and the Riverview Cemetery.

. . . . COVID -19 Club rule apply - no snot bombs!. . . . Bikes with tires that work on gravel highly recommend . . .

The Trenton weather forecast for Sunday is a high of 56 degrees, partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. UV Index 3 of 10.
