Dust off that gravel bike and get it VERY dusty on this (approx) 40 mile gravel loop starting from Mercer Park (lot 10). Although the route for this SURE-TO-BE-FUN ride is provided below I’m going to be test riding parts of it on Saturday/Sunday and it is subject to some minor changes. Currently it’s almost exactly 50/50 gravel/paved. The final route WILL incorporate the D&R canal path, Institute Woods, Carson Woods, and the Lawrence-Hopewell Trail. 100% fun/exciting loop! Gravel, cyclocross, or mountain bike strongly recommended.

Pacing is tough to list, as gravel riding always lowers your average. This ride should FEEL like a moderate B pace, but average speed will likely fall somewhere in the 12-13 mph range. Faster (or slower) riders can take the route and ride at your own pace. Rest/food stop at approximately 26 miles at the Countryside Food Mart (and/or Udos bagels if they are open) in Lawrenceville. 8:30 start time, should have us back in the parking lot by no later than 12:30.

I’m VERY excited to turn people on to this route, come on out and try something different!
