EDIT 7:45 PM SEP 9: Rain appears inevitable. I'm cancelling.
Link to route on Jim's RWGPS page Note that there's been a complaint that RWGPS underreports the climb.
Look, I'm doing the Sourland Spectacular on Saturday, and I'm in no shape to do that AND a tough ride today. And maybe the weather's not gonna be great, so let's try one that I haven't done in a while, but that's flatter than most of mine, and is generally close to the start so we can turn back if we need to.
Joe E is taking the fast folks, but he's ALSO doing the Sourland Spectacular, and may not be up to his usual performance.
Whatever. We'll see how it goes.
The usual stuff: No toilets at start. Stops as needed. Planned rest stop at that Sunrise Deli in MIllstone.
Faster riders are welcome to come to the start, take the route, and go off the front with Joe E. I intend to ride within the stated pace range. Nobody dropped.
Riders-in can meet us at Griggstown Firehoouse about fifteen minutes after the scheduled ride start (or anywhere else along the route), but let me know in advance if you're gonna do that.
If you're planning to listen to music on this ride, use bone-conduction headphones. Earbuds, over-the-ear headphones, or music audible to other riders, are not permitted.
I hope to see youse.
